When Jim and I arrived at the fire station yesterday, we were so happy to find Summer and Scout and their parents there ready to help set up. ALAS,
the rain and snow flooding cancelled our training room reservation where the different emergency agencies had set up a command center. It was very nice of our Police Chief Mills to negotiate with the owners association so that we could use the Sunriver board room. It was warm and cozy and perfect for our decorations and refreshments.
We were honored when Hugh Palcic ( The Sunriver General Manager) came in to judge the top 3 doggie Valentine outfits. It was as if he had just come in
from Westminster as his form and dog choice motions were very professional!
Our top 3 Valentine dress up pups were:
*Summer*, who was indeed THE “Victorias Secret” dressed like one of the lovely V. Secret girls when they wore angel wings and little else but under garments.
*Loki, * who is our self designated 20 Below Sheriff had a super hand knit Norwegian sweater. It was hand made by Summer’s mom, Linda.
AND Dear sweet* Lizzie *who’s Valentine dress was made by her Mom, Dottie just hours before the party!
We also have two new 20 Below members, Daisy and Mindy “fur~children” of Gail and John. Also, happy that Sybil and Jenny came again!
